The School of Citizen Protection of Castilla-La Mancha, an organization dependent on the Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations, has developed this weekend the course 'Health emergencies and foreseeable risk devices', in which volunteer staff from the groups of Civil Protection has been trained in the preparation of emergency plans, as well as in the planning of health devices in the event of foreseeable risks.
This course aims to enable the members of the groups to write and structure a health emergency plan in the event of foreseeable risks, in order to prepare the appropriate response to any situation, danger or contingency that may occur in events or activities planned in advance. .
The general director of Citizen Protection Outlook Email Lists Emilio Puig, attended the beginning of this activity, who highlighted the benefits of this type of training that offers numerous Civil Protection volunteers the possibility of obtaining Professional Certification for Employment. which represents a substantial improvement for these people, as it gives them the opportunity to have more possibilities when entering the labor market.
These types of courses combine both the need to extend the necessary training to Civil Protection groups to carry out their altruistic work, aimed at citizens, and the acquisition of the necessary skills that can allow volunteer personnel to access new Job positions.
The 15 students who have participated in this training activity come from the Albacete Civil Protection groups of Almansa and Hellín; the cities of Socuéllamos, Tomelloso and the capital of La Mancha itself; Iniesta's Cuenca; and the Toledo towns of Carranque, Cedillo del Condado, Palomeque, Santa Cruz de la Zarza and Yuncos.

On the other hand, it is worth noting that throughout Saturday morning a group of 23 volunteers took the final exams of the Key Skills Accreditation course, after more than two months of training. Those who pass these Mathematics and Language tests will have the possibility of accessing Level II Professional Certificate training, training them for professional access. This activity has been possible thanks to the support received from the Ministry of Economy, Business and Employment.
